NFRC, Author

The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) was founded in 1989 as an independent organization that administers voluntary and uniform rating, labeling, and certification for the energy performance of windows, doors, curtain walls, skylights, and other fenestration products. Its members include manufacturers, suppliers, utilities, consumer groups, representatives from the building and code industries, scientific and educational organizations, and government agencies. As an independent certification organization, NFRC does not sell or endorse manufacturers or products. NFRC staff have reviewed and approved the information provided in Architectural Digest content but provided no input or comment on the brands mentioned or the author’s conclusions.
