What Homeowners Say About Power Home Remodeling

Here are a few customer reviews to give you an idea of what homeowners did and did not like about their experience with Power Home Remodeling:

“Great experience with Power for our windows. Everyone was super knowledgeable and informative. We loved that we could finance the cost with no money down! The only issue was that four windows were mis-measured, so they’ll be back to finish the job once those windows are ready. But the other 14 windows look fantastic! We’re very happy with our overall experience from the initial sales meeting to the quality inspection, post installation.” —Kelly M. via BBB

“We would honestly give Power Home Remodeling more than five stars if we could! We have had an incredibly great experience with Power. They were the first ones to send over a sales person to us after we went online to get a window estimate. The salesman came here and did a demonstration of all of the parts of the window, which was great! The installation was flawless, cleanup was great, and we are extremely happy about our new windows. They have eliminated all of the drafts that we were getting from our previous windows. We will be getting our roof and gutters done from Power for our next project.” —Mohammed G. via BBB

“My wife and I had a great experience with Power! They were very responsive when we reached out, came to our home in a timely manner, and were not ‘pushy’ about adding any repairs that we were not interested in. Andrew was an amazing salesman. He really took his time to explain the products and prices to us, and made sure that we felt comfortable with what we chose. Scott and Tyler, who did the pre-install portion of our remodeling, were very professional and friendly. The remodeling itself looks amazing! And we were super impressed that after all of the remodeling was finished, they sent a quality specialist to our home to make sure we were satisfied! Every step just went so smoothly, which can be difficult to find these days.” —Julia S. via BBB

“Very satisfied with our new front door. We did have issues with the trim color not being what was expected. But the crew eventually gave in and fixed it on the spot. Also, had calls before the install that a field/quality inspector would come by to see how the install went and discuss if we were satisfied. Our install date was changed due to weather and the field/quality inspector never rescheduled. Also, we were not given any instructions or left with an user’s manual for our keypad lock. The salesman, Brian, was very informative. I don’t recall the name of the gentleman that came and measured, but he was very nice.” —Kimberly L. via BBB

Power Home Remodeling is not an MLM scam. It’s a fully legitimate company accredited with BBB for over a decade. Unlike MLM companies, Power Home Remodeling does not rely on a non-salaried workforce. Many of these awards focus on its quality work or name it one of the best companies to work for. State Availability

Power Home Remodeling is headquartered in Chester, Pennsylvania, but has offices across the U.S., primarily in eastern states. You can find locations in the following areas:

Visit Power’s coverage area page for specific contact information for each location.

Power Home Remodeling Pricing

Power Home Remodeling costs vary based on your location, project type, materials used, labor required, and other variables that could make your total project cost quite different from the next person’s.

Power Home Remodeling does not provide instant online estimates or even ballpark pricing on its website. However, you can request a free quote by completing a simple online form. After you submit the online form, a Power sales team representative will contact you to schedule a consultation and provide an estimate. The pricing provided at this consultation is good for up to one year.

We looked at websites such as Reddit and Yelp to see what customers report paying for their projects with Power. Below, we provide insight on each service and explain what may cause the price to fluctuate.

Attic Insulation Costs

We couldn’t find Power Home Remodeling quotes specific to its attic insulation service, but according to Home Depot, the average cost of attic insulation is $1.50 to $2.45 per square foot. Attic size, brand, material, and vent chute requirements all impact your expense.

Door Installation Costs

We also struggled to find Power’s door pricing since most homeowners who discussed the company’s quotes online reported window-and-door bundling prices. Home Depot lists the average installation cost for a single door as $368 to $1,378, depending on door features. According to the site, double entry doors typically cost between $478 and $1,798.

Roofing Installation Costs

One user on Reddit reported being quoted $24,000* by Power for roofing services on a 2,375-square-foot home in the Nebraska area. This commenter said the sales representative lowered the price to $19,000 if the homeowners signed that day. A reviewer on Trustpilot said he was quoted $7,500 to replace the roof over his garage. Your roof size and pitch, and your chosen materials will impact this price.

Siding Installation Costs

We found a Reddit user who said their Power Home Remodeling quote was $45,000 to install roughly 4,600 square feet of vinyl siding. Choosing certain materials, such as fiber cement, wood, or aluminum, could increase the price. You might also pay extra if the company must remove your old siding first.

Window Installation Costs

A homeowner on Yelp said he was quoted $22,800 to install 12 windows. The same user ended up having two windows installed and was charged $3,800. Another Yelp user said she was quoted $42,000 to install 28 windows, and a Reddit homeowner said they were quoted $12,000 for 13 windows. Window style, size, efficiency, and location will affect your total cost.

Cost Considerations

Because Power Home Remodeling uses high-quality products, its pricing falls on the higher end of the spectrum. In its Customer Bill of Rights, the company explains that it refuses to cut corners on quality. As a result, its prices may be higher than some competitors.

However, we’re concerned to read so many customer reviews saying that sales reps would take thousands of dollars off their quoted price if the homeowner signed a contract that day. While this practice isn’t entirely uncommon, the extreme difference in pricing is, since products, materials, and labor shouldn’t be this negotiable. If they are, we wonder about the company’s business practices.

Our Recommendation

Overall, we recommend Power Home Remodeling’s home services. Its service variety provides a one-stop-shop experience if you’re doing a big remodeling project, and you may be able to get bundle pricing if replacing both your windows and doors, for example.

While we flag what customers report about pushy sales tactics, the company’s overwhelming positive ratings across review sites shows us that Power delivers mostly good experiences.
