We liked that Champion offers a wide range of vinyl window types. Vinyl is one of the more cost-effective window materials, and it’s also known for its durability and energy efficiency.
If you need to replace a picture window, sliding window, or windows with unusual shapes, you’ll enjoy knowing the provider has those options and many more available. You won’t find a selection as large as that of some competitors, such as Castle Windows or Window Nation.
Our team also appreciated the wide range of financing choices and promotional offers to make purchases more manageable. Some options are limited time, so you may see other valuable offers. For example, when we wrote this review, Champion offered a “no interest for 18 months if paid in full” option and a “buy two windows, get two free” deal. Champion scored 4.2 out of 5 stars in the services and features category. The company offers a wide range of window types, which means it can likely service your entire home. You can get specialty shapes, double-hung windows, and bay or picture windows, but you can’t get single-hung windows, which only open at the bottom. Champion carries more styles than most major competitors, such as Castle Windows, Window Nation, and Universal Windows Direct.
Like its competitors, Champion offers triple-pane glass, which is better for energy efficiency and temperature regulation than single- or double-pane glass. As we already mentioned, Champion only offers vinyl windows. Some have a wood-grain appearance on the interior side, so if you’re looking for a wood look without the high price tag, these will work well. Renewal by Andersen or Pella would be better if you prefer fiberglass windows, and Marvin carries aluminum windows.

We based the reliability score on a company’s reputation, how much experience it has, and overall customer satisfaction.
Champion earned 4.6 out of 5 stars for reliability. Like its competitors, it does well in this area due to its ENERGY STAR and National Fenestration Rating Council certifications. It’s even earned spots on the Deloitte Cincinnati USA 100 list from 1998 to 2022 and the Qualified Remodeler’s top 500 list from 2013 to 2022.
We also liked that the company has been in business since 1953 and only hires in-house installers. This means it’s a more established company with installers who live and work with Champion’s products daily, which you can’t say for more than half the companies we scored in these areas.
The biggest drawback in this category was its low Better Business Bureau (BBB) score of 2.61 out of 5 stars. This was one of the lowest star ratings among the companies we reviewed.

For example, we called and confirmed that one option offers low interest while another offers low monthly payments. Champion will also find financing options that suit your needs if its most popular choices aren’t right for you.
Its promos and discounts change, so you’ll need to check the current offers when you’re ready to purchase. The “Yes! Program” gives you 10% off if you agree to your quote during your initial appointment. The financing and discounts are superior to those offered by Marvin Windows and Harvey Windows and Doors.
Like most of Champion’s competitors, it offers a limited lifetime warranty and workmanship coverage. We read the warranty details and learned that it only applies place if the original purchaser still owns the home, which isn’t as good as Renewal by Andersen’s unrestricted transferability.
Flexibility

We also liked that it offers doors and vinyl siding, as customers who want to complete these projects simultaneously can take advantage of these services.
Something Champion doesn’t offer that some competitors do is roofing services, which is unusual given its focus on siding, as most companies offer the services as a pair. If you desire a company that offers doors, siding, windows, and roofing, Castle Windows or Power Home Remodeling would better suit that need.
